About

Our Mission

At Wholeness Within Counselling Services, our mission is to offer a compassionate space where you can slow down, move beyond quick fixes, and begin to understand what’s happening underneath – helping you reconnect with your authentic self and rediscover the strength that has always been within you.

Meet the Founder

Hello, I’m Christine, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW), psychotherapist providing holistic, trauma-informed care. My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps us gently understand the parts of ourselves that can show up through anxiety, self-doubt, overwhelm, or the pressure to keep holding everything together. Rather than trying to fix or push these experiences away, we take time to understand how they may have been trying to protect you, allowing them to feel a little less heavy and a little easier to hold.

Right now, you may be feeling stuck, doubting yourself, or wondering how you’ll cope with it all. Whatever brings you here, know that you are the expert in your own story, and we can start right where you are.

I recognize how much courage it takes to reach out for support, and my hope is to offer a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported as you move toward a greater sense of ease and wholeness.

“I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light of your own being.”

A Little More About Me

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked as a musical theatre performer across Canada and abroad! That background deepened my appreciation for expression, presence, and the power of connecting to our inner voice - all of which continue to inform my clinical work today.

Because of my roots in the arts, I’m deeply passionate about mental health support in creative communities. I sit on the Steering Committee for the Behind the Scenes Charity, helping create mental health resources for the Canadian and U.S. entertainment industries, and I'm a member of Entertaining Health, promoting wellness for entertainment professionals internationally.

I’m a lifelong learner at heart, and I genuinely enjoy continuing to deepen my knowledge and grow as a therapist. Whether through reading, podcasts, IFS practice triads, or peer consultation groups, ongoing learning continues to be an important part of my practice.
